금 가격
금 가격은 두 달여 만에 최고치를 기록한 후 차익 실현 매물이 나오면서 하락했다.
현물 금 가격은 최대 1% 상승하여 온스당 4,449달러를 넘어섰으며, 장중 한때 약 4,354달러 부근에서 움직였다.
뉴욕 금 선물 12월물은 장중 한때 온스당 4,509달러까지 올랐다가 하락하여 4,420.4달러에 마감하며 약 1.1% 하락했다.
국제유가
9월 인도분 뉴욕 서부텍사스산원유(WTI) 선물은 장중 한때 3.8%까지 하락해 80.09달러까지 떨어졌다가 81.25달러로 마감하며 2.4% 하락, 5일 연속 상승세를 마감했다.
국제 에너지 기구(IEA)와 석유수출국기구(OPEC)가 모두 올해 석유 수요 전망치를 하향 조정하면서 국제 유가는 며칠간 이어지던 상승세를 마감했다. 투자자들은 글로벌 원유 수요 약화 조짐에 우려를 표했고, 미국의 원유 재고 급증은 가격에 더욱 부담을 주었다.
런던 브렌트유 10월물 선물은 배럴당 86달러 아래로 장중 한때 떨어졌다가 87.07달러에 마감하며 2.1% 이상 하락, 6일 연속 상승세를 마감했다.
뉴욕산 원유 9월물 선물은 장중 한때 3.8%까지 하락하여 80.09달러까지 떨어졌다가 81.25달러에 마감하며 2.4% 하락, 5일 연속 상승세를 마감했다.
Gold Prices
Gold prices fell as profit-taking sales emerged after hitting a high in over two months.
Spot gold prices rose by as much as 1% to surpass $4,449 per ounce, fluctuating around $4,354 at one point during the session.
New York gold futures for December delivery rose to $4,509 per ounce at one point during the session before falling back to close at $4,420.4, down about 1.1%.
International Oil Prices
September delivery West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell by as much as 3.8% at one point during the session to $80.09 before closing at $81.25, down 2.4% and ending a five-day winning streak.
International oil prices ended a rally that had continued for several days as both the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) lowered their forecasts for oil demand this year. Investors expressed concern over signs of weakening global crude oil demand, and a surge in U.S. crude oil inventories placed further pressure on prices.
October London Brent crude futures fell below $86 per barrel at one point during the session before closing at $87.07, down more than 2.1% and ending a six-day winning streak.
September New York crude futures fell as much as 3.8% at one point during the session to $80.09 before closing at $81.25, down 2.4% and ending a five-day winning streak.
