2026년 8월 중소기업 경기 동향 월간 조사 결과
통계처는 9월 9일 2026년 8월 중소기업(SME) 경기 동향 월간 조사 결과를 발표했다.
중소기업의 현재 매출액 확산지수(DI)는 2026년 7월 43.8(수축 국면)에서 2026년 8월 44.1로 상승한 반면, 향후 1개월(2026년 9월) 매출액 전망 DI는 47.6을 기록했다. 업종별로 살펴보면, 2026년 8월 일부 조사 대상 업종의 현재 매출액 DI가 전월 대비 상승했는데, 특히 요식업(40.2에서 44.0으로)과 부동산 업종(45.2에서 48.5로)의 상승세가 두드러졌다.
수출입 무역 부문의 신규 주문에 대한 현재 DI는 2026년 7월 45.0에서 2026년 8월 44.8로 하락한 반면, 향후 1개월(2026년 9월) 신규 주문 전망 DI는 47.4를 기록했다.
정부 대변인은 8월 중소기업의 경기 심리가 개선되었다고 밝혔다. 현재 매출액 확산지수는 3개월 만에 최고치를 기록했고, 전망 지수 또한 6개월 만에 최고치로 상승했다. 부동산 업종의 전망 지수는 확장 국면을 나타내는 기준선인 50을 상회했으며, 요식업 및 소매업은 여러 업종 중 경기 전망이 가장 크게 개선된 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 전반적인 고용 상황은 대체로 안정적인 흐름을 보였다.
향후 홍콩 경제의 견조한 성장세가 기업 심리를 지속적으로 뒷받침할 것으로 예상된다. 그러나 대외적 불확실성 요인(역풍)은 여전히 변화하고 있습니다. 정부는 앞으로도 상황을 면밀히 주시할 것이라고 밝혔다.
Results of the Monthly Survey on SME Business Conditions (August 2026)
On September 9, the statistics authority released the results of the monthly survey on business conditions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for August 2026.
The Diffusion Index (DI) for current sales among SMEs rose from 43.8 in July 2026 (indicating a contraction phase) to 44.1 in August 2026, while the DI for sales prospects for the coming month (September 2026) stood at 47.6. By sector, the current sales DI for certain surveyed industries increased month-on-month; notable gains were observed in the food and beverage sector (rising from 40.2 to 44.0) and the real estate sector (rising from 45.2 to 48.5).
Regarding new orders in the import-export sector, the current DI fell from 45.0 in July 2026 to 44.8 in August 2026, whereas the DI for new order prospects for the coming month (September 2026) was recorded at 47.4.
A government spokesperson stated that business sentiment among SMEs improved in August. The current sales DI reached a three-month high, and the outlook index also rose to a six-month high. The outlook index for the real estate sector surpassed the threshold of 50—indicating an expansion phase—while the food and beverage and retail sectors showed the most significant improvements in business outlook among the surveyed industries. Meanwhile, the overall employment situation remained generally stable.
Solid growth in the Hong Kong economy is expected to continue supporting business sentiment going forward. However, external sources of uncertainty—or headwinds—remain in flux. The government has stated that it will continue to closely monitor the situation.
