소아 독감환자 사례
건강보호센터는 지난 주말, 소아 독감 중증 환자 3명을 추가로 보고했다. 이 환자들은 모두 기저질환이 없는 건강한 아이들이다. CHP는 9월 17일부터 시작되는 계절성 독감 예방접종(SIV) 프로그램 이후 가능한 한 빨리 예방접종을 받아 본인과 가족의 건강을 지킬 것을 당부했습니다. 또한, 독감 및 기타 호흡기 질환 예방을 위해 항상 개인위생과 환경위생을 철저히 지켜야 한다고 강조했다.
보건당국(CHP)의 예비 조사 결과, 세 아이 모두 잠복기 동안 해외여행 이력이 없었으며, 동거 가족 구성원들은 최근 무증상인 것으로 나타났다.
"홍콩은 6월 말부터 독감 시즌에 접어들었다. 최근 감시 자료에 따르면 지난주 독감 활동이 더욱 증가하여 높은 수준을 유지하고 있다. 6월 말 이후 누적 소아 중증 독감 환자는 총 16명이다. 이 중 8명은 완치되어 퇴원했고, 2명은 안정적인 상태이며, 3명은 위중한 상태, 2명은 위독한 상태이고, 1명은 사망했다.
소아 중증 독감 환자 수는 전체적으로 예년과 비슷한 수준이다. 그러나 최근 몇 달간 지역사회 내 독감 전파가 광범위하게 이루어지고 감염자 수가 크게 증가함에 따라 중증 환자 수도 그에 따라 증가했다. 새 학기 초반에도 독감 활동이 높은 수준을 유지할 것으로 예상되며, 학교 내 독감 집단 발생 가능성도 있다. 따라서 학교와 학부모는 경계를 늦추지 않고 예방 조치를 취해야 한다.
Cases of Pediatric Flu
The Health Protection Center reported three additional cases of severe pediatric flu last weekend. All of these patients are healthy children with no underlying medical conditions. The CHP urged the public to protect their own and their families' health by getting vaccinated as soon as possible following the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination (SIV) program, which begins on September 17. They also emphasized the importance of maintaining strict personal and environmental hygiene to prevent the flu and other respiratory illnesses.
Preliminary investigations by the Health Protection Center (CHP) revealed that none of the three children had a history of overseas travel during the incubation period, and their family members living with them had recently been asymptomatic. Hong Kong entered flu season in late June. According to recent surveillance data, flu activity increased further last week and remains at a high level. Since the end of June, there have been a total of 16 cumulative cases of severe pediatric flu. Of these, 8 have recovered and been discharged, 2 are in stable condition, 3 are in critical condition, 2 are in life-threatening condition, and 1 has died.
Overall, the number of severe pediatric flu cases is similar to previous years. However, as flu transmission within the community has become widespread and the number of infected individuals has increased significantly over the past few months, the number of severe cases has risen accordingly. Flu activity is expected to remain high at the beginning of the new school year, and there is a possibility of flu outbreaks within schools. Therefore, schools and parents must remain vigilant and take preventive measures.
