소아에서 중증 인플루엔자 A형 감염 사례
보건보호센터(CHP)는 9월 4일 소아에서 중증 인플루엔자 A형 감염 사례가 발생했다고 발표했다. CHP는 9월 17일부터 시작되는 계절성 인플루엔자 예방접종(SIV) 프로그램 이후 가능한 한 빨리 예방접종을 받아 본인과 가족의 건강을 지킬 것을 당부했다.
기저질환이 있는 14세 여아는 9월 2일부터 발열, 콧물, 기침 증상을 보여 유나이티드 크리스천 병원 응급실을 방문했다. 호흡기 검체 검사 결과 인플루엔자 A형(H1) 바이러스 양성으로 확인되었다. 환자의 임상 진단은 중증 폐렴 및 패혈성 쇼크를 동반한 A형 인플루엔자 감염이었습니다. 환자는 위중한 상태로 입원 치료를 받고 있다.
홍콩에서 6월 말 독감 시즌이 시작된 이후, 소아 중증 독감 감염 사례가 총 13건 발생했다.
이 중 8명은 완치되어 퇴원했고, 2명은 안정적인 상태이며, 1명은 위중한 상태, 1명은 위독한 상태이고, 1명은 사망했다. 최신 감시 자료에 따르면 독감 활동은 여전히 높은 수준이다.
최근 몇 달간 지역사회에서 독감이 광범위하게 전파되고 감염 사례가 증가함에 따라 중증 환자 수도 그에 따라 증가했다. 새 학기 초반에도 독감 활동이 높은 수준을 유지할 것으로 예상되며, 학교 내 독감 집단 발생 가능성도 있다. 따라서 학교와 학부모는 경계를 늦추지 않고 예방 조치를 취해야 한다.
Case of Severe Influenza A in Children
The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) announced on September 4 that a case of severe influenza A had occurred in a child. The CHP urged the public to protect their own and their families' health by getting vaccinated as soon as possible following the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination (SIV) program, which begins on September 17.
A 14-year-old girl with underlying health conditions visited the emergency room at United Christian Hospital on September 2 after exhibiting symptoms of fever, runny nose, and cough. A respiratory sample test confirmed a positive result for the influenza A (H1) virus. The patient's clinical diagnosis was influenza A infection accompanied by severe pneumonia and septic shock. The patient is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
Since the flu season began in late June in Hong Kong, a total of 13 cases of severe influenza infection in children have been reported.
Of these, eight have fully recovered and been discharged, two are in stable condition, one is in critical condition, one is in life-threatening condition, and one has died. According to the latest surveillance data, influenza activity remains at a high level.
As the flu has spread widely in the community and infection cases have increased over the past few months, the number of severe patients has risen accordingly. Influenza activity is expected to remain high at the beginning of the new semester, and there is a possibility of flu outbreaks within schools. Therefore, schools and parents must remain vigilant and take preventive measures.
