홍콩 의무적립기금(MPF) 900억 홍콩달러 돌파
연간 납입액 2년 연속
홍콩 의무적립기금(MPF)은 3월 말 기준 회계연도에 총 912억 3천만 홍콩달러의 납입액을 기록하며 2년 연속 900억 홍콩달러를 넘어섰다고 의무적립기금관리국(MPFA)이 발표했다.
MPFA의 연례 보고서에 따르면, 고용주와 가입자 모두의 자발적 납입액이 증가하여 전체 납입액의 26%를 차지했으며, 이는 연금 제도에 대한 신뢰가 높아지고 있음을 반영한다.이러한 추세에 힘입어 MPF 자산은 3월 말 기준 1조 5천억 홍콩달러를 돌파했으며, 이는 지난 10년간 150% 이상 증가한 수치이다.
세액공제 대상 자발적 기여 계좌 수가 회계연도에 10만 1천 개에 달했으며, 제도 도입 이후 누적 기여금은 156억 1천만 홍콩달러에 이른다고 당국이 밝혔다. 또한, 9만 명 이상의 근로자에 대한 미납 기여금 1억 7천 7백만 홍콩달러를 환급했다고 덧붙였다.
eMPF 플랫폼은 4월 현재 1,180만 건 이상의 거래를 처리했으며, 이 중 약 78%가 디지털 방식으로 제출되었다.
전체 MPF 계좌의 약 3분의 1에 해당하는 370만 개의 MPF 계좌가 DIS(투자자문제도)에 따라 구성 펀드에 투자되어 있으며, 해당 자산은 1,696억 1천만 홍콩달러로 전체 MPF 자산의 약 11.1%를 차지한다.

Annual Contributions for Two Consecutive Years
The Mandatory Fund Authority (MPFA) announced that the Hong Kong Mandatory Fund (MPF) recorded total contributions of HK$91.23 billion in the fiscal year ending March 31, surpassing HK$90 billion for the second consecutive year.
According to the MPFA's annual report, voluntary contributions from both employers and contributors increased, accounting for 26% of total contributions, reflecting growing confidence in the pension system. Driven by this trend, MPF assets surpassed HK$1.5 trillion as of March 31, marking an increase of over 150% over the past decade.
Authorities stated that the number of tax-deductible voluntary contribution accounts reached 101,000 in the fiscal year, and cumulative contributions since the system's introduction amounted to HK$15.61 billion. It was also added that HK$177 million in unpaid contributions was refunded to over 90,000 workers.
As of April, the eMPF platform has processed over 11.8 million transactions, of which approximately 78% were submitted digitally.
3.7 million MPF accounts, representing about one-third of all MPF accounts, are invested in constituent funds under the DIS (Investor Discrimination System), with assets totaling HK$169.61 billion, accounting for approximately 11.1% of total MPF assets.
