독감 예예방접종 프로그램, 9월 17일 시작
보건보호센터(CHP)는 2026-27년 계절성 독감 예방접종(SIV) 프로그램이 9월 17일부터 시작된다고 발표했다. 보건보호센터는 특히 취약 계층을 포함한 모든 시민들에게 프로그램 시작 직후 가능한 한 빨리 예방접종을 받을 것을 촉구했다.
현재 지역 독감 활동이 높은 수준이며, 특히 A형(H1) 독감이 가장 많이 유행하고 있고 그 다음으로 A형(H3) 독감이 유행하고 있다. 새 학년이 시작되면서 독감 활동이 높은 수준을 유지할 것으로 예상되어 학교 내 집단 감염 위험이 높아질 수 있다며, 추이 센터장은 학교와 학부모들에게 경계를 늦추지 말고 예방 조치를 취할 것을 당부했다.
지난해에는 다양한 계절성 독감 예방접종 프로그램을 통해 203만 도스 이상의 백신이 접종되었다. 추이 박사는 SIV(소아암 백신)가 중증 질환 및 합병증 예방에 가장 효과적인 방법 중 하나이며, 입원 및 사망 위험을 크게 줄여준다고 강조했다.
정부는 올해 4종의 백신을 확보했다. 시민들이 더욱 쉽게 접종받을 수 있도록 정부는 6개월에서 2세 미만 모든 영유아를 대상으로 전국 29개 모자보건센터를 개방할 예정이다. 온라인 예약 시스템은 9월 14일 오전 9시부터 운영된다.
또한, 보건복지부는 지역 보건소 및 지역 보건소 산하 이동식 접종소를 25곳에서 45곳으로 확대하여 접종 장소를 늘렸다. 더불어, 보건복지부 산하 76개 가정의학과 의원과 38개 공립병원에서도 예방접종 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
1,200명 이상의 개인 의사가 예방접종 보조금 제도에 참여하여 시내 1,900곳 이상에서 접종 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 안정적인 민간 부문 공급을 위해, 자격을 갖춘 개인 의사가 조달할 수 있는 백신 물량은 올해 10만 회분에서 30만 회분으로 증량될 예정이다.
Influenza Vaccination Program Begins September 17
The Center for Health Protection (CHP) announced that the 2026-27 Seasonal Influenza (SIV) vaccination program will begin on September 17. The CHP urged all citizens, including vulnerable groups, to get vaccinated as soon as possible immediately after the program starts.
Currently, local influenza activity is at a high level, with Type A (H1) influenza being the most prevalent, followed by Type A (H3) influenza. Director Chui urged schools and parents to remain vigilant and take preventive measures, noting that high levels of influenza activity are expected to persist as the new school year begins, potentially increasing the risk of cluster infections within schools.
Last year, more than 2.03 million doses of vaccine were administered through various seasonal influenza vaccination programs. Dr. Chui emphasized that the SIV is one of the most effective methods for preventing severe illness and complications, significantly reducing the risk of hospitalization and death.
The government has secured four types of vaccines for this year. To make vaccinations more accessible to citizens, the government plans to open 29 Maternal and Child Health Centers nationwide for all infants and toddlers aged 6 months to under 2 years. The online reservation system will begin operation at 9:00 AM on September 14.
In addition, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has expanded vaccination locations by increasing the number of local public health centers and their affiliated mobile vaccination stations from 25 to 45. Furthermore, vaccination services are scheduled to be provided at 76 family medicine clinics and 38 public hospitals under the Ministry.
More than 1,200 private physicians are participating in the vaccination subsidy program, providing vaccination services at over 1,900 locations within the city. To ensure a stable supply to the private sector, the volume of vaccines that qualified private physicians can procure is scheduled to be increased from 100,000 doses this year to 300,000 doses.
