'국가 생태의 날 2026 출범식 및 심포지엄 개최
홍콩 특별행정구 정부는 8월 15일, 홍콩 과학박물관에서 '국가 생태의 날 2026 출범식 및 심포지엄'을 개최했다.
본 행사에는 중국 본토 및 홍콩 특별행정구 정부, 비정부기구, 학자, 전문가들이 초청되어 생태 문명 개념과 생태 보전 사업에 대한 의견을 교환하고, 환경 보호 및 생태 보전 관련 일련의 활동을 위한 발판을 마련했다.
출범식은 척 윙힝 행정부 차관, 셰 친완 환경생태부 장관이 주관했다. 홍콩 특별행정구 중앙인민정부 연락사무소 사회발전부 부국장 예수이추(Ye Shuiqiu) 씨와 제14차 전국인민대표대회 상무위원 겸 입법회 의장 스타리 리(Starry Lee) 박사가 참석했다.
홍콩 특별행정구 정부는 생태 문명이라는 국가적 목표를 매우 중요하게 여기며, "맑은 물과 푸른 산은 귀중한 자산"이라는 개념을 실천하기 위해 최선을 다하고 있다고 강조했다.
2025년, 홍콩의 미르스 베이는 생태환경부로부터 최고 점수를 받아 "탁월한 미경만 사례"로 선정되었다. 이는 홍콩 특별행정구 정부의 생태 및 환경 보호 노력이 국가적으로 인정받았음을 보여주는 것이며, 광둥-홍콩-마카오 대만구를 세계적인 미경만으로 조성하는 데 있어 홍콩 특별행정구 정부가 거둔 중요한 성과이다.
홍콩 특별행정구는 처음으로 국가 제15차 5개년 계획의 정책 방향인 탄소 배출 감축, 오염 감소, 녹색 개발 추진, 경제 성장 촉진에 발맞춰 생태 환경의 질을 개선하고, 녹색 전환을 꾸준히 추진하여 살기 좋은 도시를 건설하고 아름다운 홍콩을 실현하는 5개년 계획을 수립했다.
이번 출범식에서 농림수산보전국(AFCD)은 선전시 해양개발국과 산호 보전 및 해양 보전 대중교육 협력을 강화하기 위한 양해각서를 체결했다.
이 양해각서에는 정기적인 산호 보전 협력 및 교류 체계 구축, 산호 복원 기술 및 응용 연구 공동 진행, 산호 보전 분야 첨단 기술 적용 확대, 해양 보전 대중교육 공동 추진 등이 포함된다.
National Ecology Day 2026 Launching Ceremony cum Symposium
The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) held the National Ecology Day 2026 Launching Ceremony cum Symposium on August 15 at the Hong Kong Science Museum. The event brought together government officials from Mainland China and the HKSAR, non-governmental organizations, scholars, and industry experts to exchange insights on ecological civilization concepts and nature conservation initiatives.
Key Guests & Officiating Officials: Officiated by Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration Cheuk Wing-hing and Secretary for Environment and Ecology Tse Chin-wan. Guests included Ye Shuiqiu, Deputy Director-General of the Social Development Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, and Dr. Starry Lee, President of the Legislative Council and Standing Committee member of the 14th National People's Congress.
National Policy Alignment & Recognition: The HKSAR Government reaffirmed its commitment to the national vision of ecological civilization and the philosophy that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets". It highlighted that Mirs Bay received top marks from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment as an "Outstanding Example of Beautiful Bays", marking significant national recognition for Hong Kong's environmental efforts.
Alignment with the 15th Five-Year Plan: For the first time, Hong Kong is formulating a local 5-year plan aligned with the national 15th Five-Year Plan. The framework focuses on carbon reduction, pollution control, green development, and economic growth to drive a sustainable transition.
