홍콩 천문대에 따르면 돌핀이 앞으로 하루 이틀 안에 저장성을 지나 내륙으로 이동하면서 중국 남부 지역에 극심한 더위와 뇌우를 동반할 것으로 예상된다.
오늘 월요일은 대체로 맑겠고, 도심 기온은 29~36도까지 오른다. 화요일에는 풍속 3~4의 서풍 또는 남서풍이 불겠고, 맑은 날씨 후 국지적으로 소나기가 내리겠다.
주중에는 남서풍의 영향과 이후 상층 기압골의 영향으로 수요일부터 소나기가 내리고 기온이 다소 누그러지겠지만, 다음 주 도심 최고 기온은 32~33°C로 매우 덥거나 극도로 더운 날씨가 이어질 것으로 예상된다.
천문대는 돌핀 태풍이 약 1,000km 떨어진 곳에 위치해 있음에도 불구하고 남중국해 연안에 강한 하강 기류를 몰고 와 서풍에서 북서풍으로 약하게(대부분 10노트 미만) 불면서 내륙의 뜨거운 공기를 끌어들여 쉽게 빠져나가지 못해 폭염이 발생한다고 설명했다.
특히 셩수이는 전형적인 내륙 분지 지형으로, 삼면이 산으로 둘러싸여 있어 해풍이 불어와 기온을 낮출 수 없고, 다른 지역보다 열기가 더 많이 축적된다.
셩수이 지역, 최고 기온 39.8°C 기록 경신
태풍 돌핀의 외곽 하강 기류의 영향으로 상수이의 기온이 어제 오후 39.8°C까지 치솟아 홍콩에서 1884년 기상 관측소 관측 시작 이래 최고 기온을 기록했다. 침사추이에 위치한 홍콩 기상청 본부는 36.9°C를 기록했다.
오후 3시 20분경 북반구 기온은 상수이의 2022년 최고 기온보다 0.7°C 높았으며, 1980년대 자동 기상 관측소 설치 이후 최고치를 기록했다.
오후 5시까지 13개 관측소에서 37℃ 이상을 기록했다. 웡타이신과 해피밸리는 38.2℃, 위엔롱 공원은 38.1℃, 타이롱과 타쿠링은 37.8℃, 쳉관오와 샤틴은 37.6℃를 기록했고, 타이포, 습지공원, 콴통, 팍탐청, 그리고 췬완의 싱문밸리는 37.0℃에서 37.3℃ 사이의 기온을 보였다.

The legendary dolphin at the Dragon Observatory is expected to be stored within the future one-day survival period.
Today, the forest is clear, with temperatures ranging from 29 to 36 degrees. Westerly or southwesterly winds with speeds of 3 to 4 will blow, and localized showers will follow the clear weather.
During the week, due to the influence of southwesterly winds and later an upper-level trough, showers will occur from observation, and temperatures will remain relatively high; however, next week, maximum temperatures are expected to reach 32–33°C, making it very hot or subject to climate change.
It is explained that despite the observatory dolphin being approximately 1,000 km away, it brings strong downdrafts to the South China Sea region. As the wind blows weakly from the west to the northwest (mostly 10 knots), it draws in hot inland air, making it easy for the area to survive or create space. Sheung Shui features diverse inland basin topography. Located on three sides, it is particularly susceptible to sea breezes, which can cause small mountains to rise, and there are more of them than in other regions.
**Sheung Shui Record High: 39.8°C**
Influenced by observed dolphin downdrafts, temperatures in the northern region soared to 39.8°C in the afternoon, setting a new record high that began in 1884. It is reported that temperatures were recorded at 36.9°C.
Around 3:20 PM, the northern temperature was monitored to be 0.7°C higher than the 2022 record high in Sou Sai, marking the highest record since the installation of automated temperature stations in the 1980s.
By 5:00 PM, 13 unique stations recorded temperatures above 37°C. Revel Tai Sin and Happy Valley recorded 38.2°C, Yuen Long Park 38.1°C, Cheng Kuan O and Sha Tin 37.6°C, Phak Tam Cheng, and Tsuen Wan's Xing Mun Valley recorded 37.0°C, ranging from 37.0°C to 37.3°C.
