위조 미달러 지폐 입금 시도, 중국 본토 남성 체포

57세 중국 본토 남성이 8월 6일 목요일 침사추이 스탠다드차타드 은행 지점에서 위조 미국 달러 지폐를 입금하려다 체포되었다.  은행 직원은 이 남성이 100달러 지폐 18장을 입금하려 했다고 신고했다.

확인 과정에서 직원이 지폐 중 하나가 위조지폐일 가능성이 있다고 판단하여 경찰에 신고했다. 경찰이 현장에 도착해 조사 후 구금하고 조사 중이다.

Mainland Chinese Man Arrested for Attempting to Deposit Counterfeit US Dollar Bills

A 57-year-old mainland Chinese man was arrested on Thursday, August 6, at a Standard Chartered Bank branch in Tsim Sha Tsui while attempting to deposit counterfeit US dollar bills. A bank employee reported that the man attempted to deposit 18 $100 bills.

During the verification process, the employee determined that one of the bills was likely counterfeit and reported the matter to the police. Police arrived at the scene, conducted an investigation, and are currently detaining and questioning the man.
