보건부, 미등록 의약품 불법 판매 및 소지 단속 강화
보건부는 8월 5일, 홍콩 여러 지역에서 미등록 의약품의 불법 판매 및 소지를 단속하는 작전을 실시하여, 진통 효과가 있다고 주장되는 미등록 의약품 약 100상자를 압수했다.
압수된 제품 대부분은 일본어로 표기되어 있었다. 또한, 한 남성이 약사 및 독극물 조례(제138장) 위반 혐의로 체포되었다.
보건부는 조례에 따라 1급 독극물로 분류되는 진통제가 시중에 판매되거나 소지되고 있다는 신고를 받았다. 해당 제품들은 일본어로 표기되어 있었고, 홍콩에 등록되지 않은 것으로 의심되었다. 이에 따라 보건부(DH) 직원들은 오늘 침사추이, 코즈웨이베이, 상수이, 위엔롱 등 여러 지역에서 불시 점검을 실시했다.
보건부는 의약품 판매 허가업체(ASP, 일반 약국), 등록 의약품 판매업체(LSP, 일반 의약품 회사), 그리고 두 곳의 소매점에서 진통 효과가 있다고 주장하는 미등록 의약품 약 100상자를 압수했다.
이 제품들은 "이부프로펜"과 "디하이드로코데인"을 함유한 것으로 추정된다. 경찰은 미등록 의약품 및 1급 독극물 불법 소지 등 마약 관련 범죄 혐의로 38세 남성을 체포했다.
Health Department Intensifies Crackdown on Illegal Sale and Possession of Unregistered Medicines
On August 5, the Health Department conducted an operation across various districts of Hong Kong to crack down on the illegal sale and possession of unregistered medicines, seizing approximately 100 boxes of unregistered medicines claimed to have pain-relieving effects.
Most of the seized products were labeled in Japanese. Additionally, a man was arrested on charges of violating the Pharmacy and Poison Control Ordinance (Chapter 138).
The Health Department received reports that painkillers classified as Class 1 poisons under the ordinance were being sold or possessed on the market. The products were labeled in Japanese and were suspected of not being registered in Hong Kong. Consequently, Health Department (DH) officials conducted surprise inspections today in several districts, including Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay, Shui Shui, and Yuen Long.
The Health Department seized approximately 100 boxes of unregistered medicines claiming pain-relieving effects from authorized pharmaceutical distributors (ASPs, general pharmacies), registered pharmaceutical distributors (LSPs, general pharmaceutical companies), and two retailers. These products are suspected to contain "ibuprofen" and "dihydrocodeine." Police arrested a 38-year-old man on charges of drug-related crimes, including illegal possession of unregistered medicines and Class 1 poisons.
