[증시 종합] 홍콩 항셍지수, 차익 실현 매물에 25,800선 후퇴
2026년 8월 5일 홍콩 증시 개장을 앞두고, 직전 거래일인 8월 4일 홍콩 항셍지수(HSI)가 단기 상승에 따른 차익 실현 매물 출회로 소폭 하락 마감했다.
4일 홍콩거래소에서 항셍지수는 전 거래일 대비 156.48포인트(-0.60%) 하락한 25,852.92로 장을 마쳤다. 장 초반 미국 증시 상승세에 힘입어 26,187.57선까지 오르며 26,100선을 돌파했으나, 이후 매도세가 이어지며 하락세로 돌아섰다. 일일 거래 대금은 약 2,578억 2,000만 홍콩달러(HKD)를 기록했다.

빅테크 기술주 혼조세항셍 테크 지수는 소폭 상승하며 4,885선에 마감했다. 알리바바(Alibaba) 등 일부 주요 IT 종목에 신규 인공지능(AI) 모멘텀 관련 매수세가 유입되며 지수 하방을 지지했다.
중국 본토 증시와의 차별화중국 본토 증시(심천 Component 지수 +3.25%, 창업판 ChiNext 지수 +5.64%)가 반도체 및 AI 기술주 급등에 힘입어 폭등세를 나타낸 반면, 홍콩 증시는 대형 금융주와 부동산주의 약세 영향으로 상대적 조정 흐름을 나타냈다.

Ahead of the opening of the Hong Kong stock market on August 5, 2026, the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index (HSI) closed slightly lower on August 4, the previous trading day, due to profit-taking selling pressure following a short-term rally.
On the 4th, the Hang Seng Index closed at 25,852.92 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, down 156.48 points (-0.60%) from the previous trading day. Early in the session, the index rose to 26,187.57, breaking through the 26,100 mark, buoyed by gains in the US stock market; however, it subsequently turned downward as selling pressure persisted. The Hang Seng Tech Index rose slightly to close at the 4,885 level. Buying interest related to new artificial intelligence (AI) momentum flowed into some major IT stocks, such as Alibaba, supporting the index's downside.
Differentiation from Mainland China: While the mainland Chinese stock market (Shenzhen Component Index +3.25%, ChiNext Index +5.64%) surged driven by a sharp rise in semiconductor and AI tech stocks, the Hong Kong stock market showed a relative correction trend due to weakness in large financial and real estate stocks.
