금 가격
달러가 한 달 만에 최고치 부근을 유지하면서 금 가격이 일주일 만에 최저치로 떨어졌다.
현물 금 가격은 온스당 4,011달러 아래로 잠시 떨어졌으며, 장중 한때 4,027.33달러에 거래되어 약 1.2% 하락했다.
뉴욕 8월물 금 선물은 온스당 4,038.7달러로 마감하며 0.9% 하락했다.
미국증시
미국 증시는 혼조세를 보였다. 다우존스 산업평균지수는 500포인트 이상 상승한 반면, 나스닥 종합지수는 기업 실적 호조, 유가 하락, 반도체 관련주에서 다른 업종으로의 자본 유출에 힘입어 소폭 하락했다.
다우존스 지수는 장중 한때 700포인트 가까이 상승하며 52,747로 마감해 537포인트(1%) 올랐다. 나스닥 종합지수는 장 초반 1% 이상 하락했으나 이후 일부 만회하며 24,876으로 55포인트(0.2%) 하락 마감했다. S&P 500 지수는 7,428로 15포인트(0.2%) 상승했다.
다우존스 구성 종목 중에서는 셔윈윌리엄스가 예상보다 양호한 분기 실적 발표 후 8% 이상 상승하며 가장 큰 폭으로 올랐다. 코카콜라는 예상보다 좋은 실적과 매출, 그리고 연간 전망치 상향 조정에 힘입어 5% 상승했다. 보잉은 분기 잉여현금흐름 흑자 달성에 힘입어 5% 가까이 상승했다.
반도체 관련주는 대부분 큰 폭으로 하락했다. 마이크론과 SK하이닉스는 거의 9%, 인텔은 거의 6% 하락했고, 엔비디아는 비교적 보합세를 보였다.
주요 기술주 중에서는 알파벳이 2% 이상 상승했고, 애플과 마이크로소프트도 1% 가까이 올랐다.
Gold prices fell to a one-week low as the U.S. dollar held near a one-month high.
Spot Gold: Temporarily dipped below $4,011 per ounce and traded down around 1.2% at $4,027.33 per ounce during intraday trading.
Gold Futures: New York gold futures for August delivery settled down 0.9% at $4,038.70 per ounce.
U.S. equity markets ended mixed as investors rotated capital out of semiconductor stocks and into other sectors, supported by strong corporate earnings and falling oil prices.

Top Gainers & Outperformers:
Sherwin-Williams: Jumped over 8% following better-than-expected quarterly results.
Coca-Cola: Advanced 5% on strong earnings/revenue beat and an upgraded full-year outlook.
Boeing: Rose nearly 5% after achieving positive quarterly free cash flow.
Big Tech: Alphabet gained over 2%, while Apple and Microsoft rose nearly 1%.
Semiconductor Pullback:
Chipmakers faced heavy selling pressure: Micron and SK Hynix plunged nearly 9%, Intel dropped almost 6%, while Nvidia traded relatively flat.
