1. 제81주년 광복절 경축식 개최 및 정치권 개헌·지지도 공방
정부가 제81주년 광복절을 맞아 경축식을 개최하고 전국 주요 지자체 및 서대문 독립공원, 보신각 등에서 타종 행사와 독립유공자 추모 행사를 진행했다.

4. 태풍 비구름에 남해안 최대 200mm 폭우… 계곡·피서객 비상
열대저압부로 변질된 태풍 비구름의 영향으로 광복절 연휴 사흘간 전국적으로 가끔 비가 내리는 가운데, 남해안과 제주도를 중심으로 최대 150~200mm 이상의 거대한 비구름대가 유입되어 폭우 비상이 걸렸다.

2. Large-scale Liberation Day Rallies in Downtown Seoul… Traffic Controls in Sejong-daero and Gwanghwamun Areas
To mark Liberation Day, large-scale rallies by conservative and progressive groups were held simultaneously in various parts of downtown Seoul.
